I need to replace the scope on my DPMS .308 (gave the previous Nikon 4x12 scope to my son-in-law before his Colorado elk hunt). I'm considering a Trijicon AccuPoint 3x9, and wonder if anyone has any experience with this scope, in particular their BAC post/illuminated triangle reticle. Among other things, I'm wondering what people might have found about the color of the illuminated triangle, which is available in red, amber or green.
Here's the rifle on which I'll mount it, shown with the Nikon.
Any input is appreciated, including suggestions for other optics. I use this rifle for hunting, mainly deer and hogs, and target shooting.
