I have inherited a 12ga that was my late brothers. It has been 10 years now, and it’s time to dust it off. Question is, short of taking it to a gunsmith, I do not know what size shells it is chambered for. The only information on the gun is the stamping on the barrel: Firearms International Corp. Wash. 22, DC. 12 GA. 3 MOD …… and serial # 28426 on the bottom of the receiver.
That’s it, and I have broken it down as far as I can, short of drilling rivets out. This gun looks way to new to be from the 50’s & 60’s era of when I thought “Firearms International” was functioning, but then again, I do not know much of the company, and cannot find any info on the internet. It looks like something of the early 80’s.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
