Fortunately, I'm now immune to any form of temptation when it comes to spending money.

(I have allllmost enough for a case of ammo. After that, I'm tapped out :) :) :) )
Immune huh? Well let's talk about accessories!

All kidding aside, I hope I was able to help you to enjoy your new toys. Just buy all the ammo you can and have fun my friend.

If I can ever spend more of your money, you know where to find me. hehe

P.S. Don't forget, you owe us some gun porn when you can!

Today I am able to participate with my new Saiga

This will also be my 'before' photo, because I'm going to promptly do an AK conversion

I just picked it up today; I hope to shoot it tomorrow. I want to see how it performs compared to after the conversion.

Now, on to Carolina Shooters Supply, Diznag, etc

    Congrats zacii!

Nice dimples on the receiver. Take a bright light and try to look under the barrel shroud. Some of those 7.62's with dimples have been known to come with factory threads.

Have fun shooting your new Russian.

Please excuse the crappy photos, I am not a photographer. Suffice it to say, I was bitten by the AK bug eons/years ago when I was sent to Aberdeen Proving Ground as a young armor officer to take the Soviet Weapons Course. Fast forward about 28 yrs, I finally purchased my first AK-series weapons (AKMs). In mid-July I bought an Arsenal SGL21-66 and at the end of July, I found an Arsenal SLR107-CR. These join the RRA Carbine and the SIG556 SWAT now. Eventually, the SLR-107 CR will be SBR'd and outfitted with an Aimpoint T1 and light, as will the SGL22-66 (except for the SBR "treatment"). Both ended up being much more accurate than I remembered AKs being. So far, I've encountered no problems with Arsenal's infamous "squid-ink" coating--though, I've been careful to not use anything more caustic in cleaning the exterior than CLP.

I definitely love the solid side-folder on that one, Unfortunately for me, an Arsenal is out of my price range for the time being (I've got a Saiga 12 on layaway and will be saving my money for that and it's conversion for awhile it looks like.)
