Great looking Galil, QK!. That's the best looking optics system I think I've ever seen for AK's and variants!

I'm not much for firearm photography, but here's mine. It's a Yugo underfolder, Ultimak mount and Aimpoint CompMl3. I've got a small piece of picatinny rail on the right lower handguard to mount a TLR3 light, and before anyone asks, I have the recoil pad on not because of recoil benefits, but because it adds a good inch of pull length which I find comfortable and it prevents the upturned ends from grabbing clothing (etc) when the rifle is mounted or otherwise handled (and the stock still folds completely with it).

    It's compact and reliable.

A Galil is on my 'get one' list....as is an M1A. I just wish it had a more leftie friendly safety.....

Any and all of the variants are welcome to post in this thread. I made sure to put that in the opening thread.

And that is the first .308 Galil I've ever seen. And it is beautiful!

Here are some updated pics with the rail and scope.

I'll kick in a pic of my AK. I have not done any tricking out on mine at all but I am ready to do some now. I want to replace the wood stock and fore end with some synthetic ones. I'd like to put an adjustable stock on her, much like what I have on my AR.

My Romanian WASR 10/63 GP. I removed the wood and added a Tapco Galil handguard, a Tapco sidefolding stock, and an ATI pistolgrip.
Your basic WASR-10/63. Unsightly but functional. Your basic "zombie" gun, may it never be needed.

Mine came with Tapco furniture. The handgrip has been replaced with the ATI handgrip. I'm looking to replace the "Galil style handguard" with something more traditional, and find a decent sidefolding buttstock.

Vltor makes an attractive side folder, and K Var does as well. As far as the handguard goes, I'm actually quite happy with the Galil style. I've burned my fingertips before with the basic style, due to those holes in the side.

Well took the plunge the other day finally. Figured I'd give one of the CIA Ak74 builds priced at $350 a shot. Yeah I know not a CIA.

Was going to get a lancaster but after allot of research on 2 other sites I have to pass on them until they get there bugs worked out.

TGI is a good one but they are no longer importing rifles and are sold out of the Ak74 truck guns.

So maybe by the end of the week I'll be able to post pictures.
