Top Folding Stock Question

Hello,

Has anyone had any experience with the ATI Top Folding Stock (see link)?



This is for use on my Mossberg 500. I want to be able to use this as a back up bug out gun for if the brown stuff hits the fan type scenario. The idea being using my AR as the primary weapon with the Mossberg strapped to my bug out pack as a back up long gun, being able to "draw" from over the shoulder. With of course the Kimber .45 or Sig 9mm in a thigh holster.

I appreciate any feedback you have on this stock/set up.

A buddy of mine used to have that on one of his shotguns. It works, though if I remember correctly he had to modify it to clear his ghost ring sights. One thing to keep in mind, that stock has absolutely no weight to it.

they work great on the mossberg i have two of them

They do pose an issue for the mossberg. If its folded, you dont have easy access to the tang mounted safety. Works better on the 870s and mavericks in my book

yep the safety is a little harder to get to
