I am wanting to put a rail on my shotgun, but the kicker is how can it be mounted? And the other thing is it is on a sxs 12 gauge i have seen the stoeger tatical I wouldn't buy one but I have a solid sxs and I thought it would be kind of different to build me up a tattical sxs just for kicks, so any input would be helpful and thanks for everyones time.

If it has a little British-style splinter foreend, you're probably out of luck. If there's enough wood to use, you could mount a piece of Picatinny rail under it. Something like this:

or similar from Brownell's. You'll probably have to level it with the bore, maybe build a little base of fiberglass that won't be noticed.

I seen a stoger sxs tatical here at a store in wichita, I thought it was neat. I like the sxs but I wouldnt spend the money for it I think they were asking 500.00 for it I thought why not convert mine to look like that, so that is what I am trying to do thanks for inputsOriginally Posted by pirate
