I like the concept of a pistol caliber carbine - but only if it uses the same mags as my pistol. If I can find a KT Sub 2000 that takes G19 mags, I will likely buy one.
For the money they want for this one, I would get a carbine in a rifle caliber. JMHO.
We are in the process of building .45 ACP carbines. We had samples at the 2010 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. Our plan is to have the first batch off of the production line by the end of February.
Keep an eye on our website. We will be updating it as the project progresses.
While we plan on chambering for the .40 S&W, the .458 SOCOM would require a completely different operating system. I think we will let the other boys build them.
The biggest problem I see is the price. For the price they are asking you could spend just a bit more and get a AR in 9mm. And there is more than likely a 45 acp upper for the AR out there somewhere.
I operate on 20 some forums, including my own. I sorta' forgot about this one after I got into reloading and building my own guns and working 12 hour days. Then I crashed my computer (long story) and am rebuilding my bookmarks.
