A nice M1 and great detailed photos! Thanks for posting!
It looks to be in very good condition. Congratulations and enjoy it!
[QUOTE=Pro2A;1503465]And man is she a beauty I picked her up from a guy on PAFOA. It is a field grade CMP Garand with matching parts... I made a thread earlier with some questions about an M1... now here are my photos as I know some of you wanted to see. She is a real gem I can't wait to get her out and stretch her legs. Enjoy the photos!
Of course our cat the "Customs Agent" had to come inspect it as he does with EVERYTHING I bring home
Hey, it's their duty to checkem' out.

Congrats on a really clean looking rifle...a real beauty!

Just seeing one of those M1s almost makes me want to solute it for all it's done for our country and for our world.
A true piece of history.
Don't believe what you hear and only half of what you see!
That's a nice one. Reminds me of my Dad. He was a Paris Island Marine. There's a Garand, an '03 and a M1 carbine in his safe. Lots of memories there.
I love the history behind this rifle and only wish it could talk. Mine was made in January of '45. There is a good possibility it saw some combat in WW2 and most likely in Korea.
Nice piece! Should be a fun shooter.

Beautiful. The gun that won the 2nd WW in a big way.
