    Talking Here she is... My M1 Garand

    And man is she a beauty I picked her up from a guy on PAFOA. It is a field grade CMP Garand with matching parts... I made a thread earlier with some questions about an M1... now here are my photos as I know some of you wanted to see. She is a real gem I can't wait to get her out and stretch her legs. Enjoy the photos!




    The 1945 date that matches the serial number...



    Of course our cat the "Customs Agent" had to come inspect it as he does with EVERYTHING I bring home


    I was trying to get a good shot of the excellent rifling in the barrel, but it didn't turn out too well... (Yes the action was open and unloaded)

    That's a beautiful rifle you found there. I was looking for one at the Gun s how in Saratoga a few weeks back, nothing to found.

    Looks like the Garand passed inspection by the Customs Agent Cat.

    One of these days I'm going to get one.....the M1 that is.
    Sometimes on a clear day, I can see into the future with this spotting scope.
