It's real hard to beat the folks at J&G Sales; AK-47 and RPK rifles
though I found mine at a local gun store.
Don't forget to figure in the S&H and FFL receiving fees compared to your local store. happy hunting.

Sorry didn't notice you wanted a Mak 90, thought you was looking for ak's in general.
Good to hear you got the one you wanted, or at least will have in a couple more weeks.
good job, can't wait till I can get one of my own.

yeah no problem appreciate your input and sites i checked them out. Just of everything i had read the Norinco seemed like the candidate for me. 1.6mm reciever thicker barrel and cheaper than the Bulgarian. And as for the others have read alot of them are junk like the romanian WASR-10.

You have to remember to take allot on the net with a grain of salt. I have read about problems with the WASR but have read even more about people totally satisfied with them.
Glad you found what you was looking for.

Yes. Get it. MAK-90s are better quality than any of the mid-range priced AKs you will see for sale.

I have a WASR 10 I purchased new of $340 and have no complaints:

Shot this group from 100 yards with no claims of being a marksman and using Wolf ammo. I'm sure others with better skill could tighten this up:

I've only put a few hundred rounds through it so I can't comment on its long term reliability but so far it has run flawlessly.

Yes. If it is a milled receiver you stole it. Mak's are fine AK's, better than many. Here are some resources to play with:

The SKS and AK Rifles
MAK90, MAK-90, MAK 90, MAC90, MAC-90, MAC 90
AK-47 Kalashnikov Information and Pictures
The prices in the above links are old, so not to worry. Your Mak will serve you well. You did well. Enjoy it and have fun.

I don't know much about AK's just learning myself. But think you did good on the deal you made the MAK's seem to be hard to find or costly when you do.
