Went to local gun store today and they were having a sale on the Mossberg 500 persuaders so I took one home. 20'' barrel and 8 shot tube seemed desirable for home defense. I was going to purchase an AK74, but I just couldn't pass up the deal I got on the Mossberg. I told them salesmen I was buying it as a birthday gift to myself, so he threw in Remington 10 rounds of 2 3/4 OO buck for free. Gotta love the local stores. Pics to come.

Hey that is awesome.. I just got me one of those too! I paid $350 out the door and got a pistol grip and stock with it!

I had one with the 18.5" barrel and 6 rds, a great bush gun.

I have the Mossberg 500 in 20 gage, with 18.5 standoff barrel. It was $349 last year. It also came with a pistol grip.
