CDNN has them for $299. I got mine from there. Great company.
I also bought the quad rail directly from Kel-tec and it works well. I also bought the stock extender and spare magazine holder. Kel-tec shipped fast, I ordered in the morning and they shipped it the same day.
Because of the blowback operation and design of the Sub 2000 recoil spring and bolt, the bolt transfers a lot of energy/recoil forces to the rear stock. Get the bolt buffer.....it really works well.

Come on man it looks like a pair of bat ears......It may be hideous but its a major improvement over the OEM plastic front sight which is one of the bad points of this gun. Many owners even remove the front sight and order of all things a Hi Point 995 front sight ($15) thats made of metal and install it on the rifle, it fits perfectly. The sight on my S2K is made by Blueforce and is a very hi quality unit that adjusts just like an AR front sight. Blueforce makes AR15 parts and assesories and made this Sub 2000 sight for many years but no longer do.
Sweet set-up.
3 ?
1. how much?
2. how much weight/bulk does it add?
3. If you remove optic and put it back on, does it retain zero?
Thanks!

1. $113
2. less bulk that the plastic forend and weigh is negligable, its aluminum
3. That would depend on your optic base and how it mounts more than the quad rail itself. Some may some may not, It has standard Picatinny type rails and if you mount it correctly on the gun I do not see why not. In general its a major improvement over the OEM plastic handugard that gives you many mounting options, and looks so much better, so it just depends if you want to spend the funds to do the upgrade.
thanks! Look SUPER COOL!--John
Pirate...
Thanks for the heads up on the buffer...just put in the order.
Looks like a very effective HD carbine. I like it.
Okay, first I see a bipod on a Sub 2k, and now a free-float rail?
North pole's still above Antarctica, right? Poles haven't reversed yet?

I really like the way you setup your sub2k, I have a similair setup with the tapco handle and red dot, was wondering what handle grip cover your using and do you like it?
Kel-Tec Sub 2000 is great pistol-caliber carbine. And GLOCK mags make high-capacity easy!
Wow. Not a bad price at all. Might have to look into ordering one..
