Just like the title says.
Finally, after about 90 days, I will be having my inspection for my FFL next week. Any tips from those of you that have already done it?
Thanks in advance.
Just like a job interview, the first few minutes of the Introduction will set the whole tone of the visit.
Be friendly, courteous and upfront. Don't sweat it, you are job security to the ATF IOI's, they need you to survive.
Like anyone else, just follow the golden rule, treat them as you would like to be treated and everything will fall into place.
If you have made it this far, chances are that you will become an FFL after your interview and premises inspection. Best of luck to you.

I had my ATF inspection yesterday morning. It went absolutely perfect!
My inspector was very laid back and nice, but very knowledgable. I had all my documents and forms out and was prepared with my own copies of all the different form he had brought to explain procedures with me. He said I was one of the most prepared he has ever inspected and would 100% suggest approval. The whole thing took about 2 hours.
He said, under normal circumstances, to expect my physical license in the next few weeks, but... because the ATF financial year ends September 30, I will probably get it before October 1st, as they don't like to have to things carry over for both years...I should be an FFL in a week!
Thank you all for your help!
That wasn't so bad was it?
So here's a new question...
With the federal government "shutdown", are they still processing/approving new FFL applications? What about NFA Form 1's and Form 4's?
I know NICS is still up and running... what about everything else?
The NFA is down to 2 inspectors and 4 contractors.

Probably the only home based FFL that doesn't do transfers.
Congrats! Auditors (Inspectors) love people who prepare and have correct Objective Evidence to present (gains a higher sense of confidence for a reasonable person determination on what factual evidence is presented = you were not hiding stuff). Thank god you got an apparently 'reasonable person' who audited/inspected you.
IF you are legal don't worry about it.
Electronic copy of my 07 FFL was delivered to my inbox today! I am officially an FFL!
