Chalk another one up to MD's new gun law.

Constitutional Firearms announced this week that the last day for sales will be May 31 and that they will close for good on June 7 to allow pick ups after Maryland's 7 day purgatory.

The owner was cream of the crop, I took the training for my permit with him and we had some good times shooting some cool guns.

They are selling their inventory wholesale and as a last ditch show of support I purchased a Colt Mustang and a Sig P229 in .357 on Friday after work. The mags for the Sig are 12 round and are verboten for sale to People's Republic residents so I will have to have the shop send them to a bud in VA. They are supposed to be bringing a .40 barrel from the owner's private stock for me next Sat when I pick it up.

Really wasn't expecting to branch out into .357 and .40 but what the heck, you only live once .........

That's a bummer. It's a shame these laws are putting people out of business.

    That's the intent.

The Anti's have figured out that if they cant ban the guns...they can make the business of selling them difficult enough that eventually everyone quits. If you cant buy a gun or ammo, then you eventually achieve your goal of no one having any.

What it really means is that MD residents wanting to purchase firearms will now go out of state as the LGSs become fewer and farther between. Gun sales revenue is now flowing out of the state along with the sales taxes that go with it, not to mention the small businesses shutting down. MD ranked 3rd in a recent Gallup poll of residents who wanted to leave the state taking their tax dollars with them. I for one can't wait to retire and leave this blue mess and return to America.

pawn your car, buy as much of his inventory as you can.

the socialists will be happy to help you but a Prius or a Volt. you'll be able to get a new car later.

But 5-10K worth(or whatever your car is worth) of wholesale guns will NEVER happen again in your life so long as you live there....

Never say never in this state, this is the second LGS closing that I am aware of since last Oct (when the law went into effect), but this one was my fave. The other was Accurate Pawn & Tackle who decided to up and move to Delaware. They were actually closer to me but the owner was a total tool....

Move over here. We'd be glad to have you. At least we are passing pro-gun laws. It really ticks me off when they talk about their common sense gun laws. Oxymoron if I ever heard one. Make you sick
