Whenever my carry rounds get to looking like they might need a polishing, I empty the magazine and put them in the shoot box. Next time at the range, they get shot.
Years ago when most of the casings were not nickle plated I would shine the twelve in the beltloops on my duty belt. Today with nickle plated casings on the defensive ammo I use I wipe them off with a silicone cloth before loading them in the magazines of my carry guns. Yeah I am a Type A.

Sometimes it amazes me at how intuitive the members in this forum can be. That's why I call it home. The full moon is today by the way. Many peak in their perceptions at this time.
You might as well go down into the basement and put a nice shine on the copper plumbing while you have that can of Never-Dull out and handy.
I have on occasion, cleaned some Wolf ammo that was pretty 'cheap and dirty'...cleaning helped.

I have to admit I've done it, but I use Simichrome. Polished/clean brass feeds better.
