I wipe it down every night before it takes its spot at my nightstand, but I only really clean it after range use

I clean mine after every 200 - 300 rounds. I used to clean it after every range trip (100 rnds) but decided that was overkill.
Not as often ,,,, as I should,,,, been doing better lately
or at least trying to clean every 2 or 3 weeks.
That "pocket fuzz" does build up.

every five hundred rounds or so I give the guns a stripping, cleaning and some oil, if the gun hasn't been shot I'll lube it every few months
I wipe it down every night, and clean it every hundred rounds or so.

I clean after shooting, with a typical range visit being 50-100 rounds, usually every 2-3 weeks. The pocket fuzz tends to build up sufficiently in that time too to where a cleaning is warranted, but not so much as to impede function. Yesterday I went to the range with my wife and had her try my gun. She picked it up and said that the fuzz was disgusting and asked where I had been keeping it.
Wipe down in the evening before bed. Field strip and inspect in the morning before I head out. (Clean if necessary.) Clean after EVERY range trip.
I'm wondering how much of the "pocket fuzz" is a result of over-oiling?

Glock 19 Gen 4
Si hoc legere scis, nimis eruditionis habes
Mine is a Glock 26. I use oil very sparingly. I put one drop at the end of the slide rails and set it on end to let it run down. I put one drop on the slide hooks on the frame and one at the mechanism with the hook at the back of the frame. This follows a good cleaning with #9 and wipe down.
This doesn't seem to leave any excess to wipe off, yet leaves the friction parts lubricated even when it goes unused for a while. I have been looking for a good rail grease, but haven't found one I like.

Even though the lint in the barrel looks funky, how much could it hurt to be there when the gun is fired? I'm guessing not at all.
I try not to leave much oil in the barrel because I don't like to see the lint build-up. Has anyone used compressed air in a can to blast it out? (done so safely of course)
I've yet to clean my Glock 19 aside from just wiping the buildup off the muzzle after I shoot it.
