Question How do I clean slide serrations?

I need some help guys...I keep trying to clean in between the slide serrations on my guns, and pieces of my cleaning patches keep coming off and getting stuck in between them. If anyone has any suggestions or item recommendations, I would really appreciate it.

If you are going to use a toothbrush, make sure it is either the kid's or the wife's, that stuff doesn't taste very good.
