Dirty magazines

I haven't used Break Free but Gunzilla has worked wonders on all of the gun parts I have tried it on. Dry, but slippery!

Running a silicon cloth through them every so often has always worked well too.

I disassemble my Glock magazines every now and then. I let 'em hit the dirt a lot. Run a cotton rag through the body, and maybe slick them up with some Son of a Gun or Armor-All.

I took mine apart and treated everything with Militec and now all they need is a very light oiling. Everything treated with Militec cleans much easier also.

why send it to a smithy, learn how to dismantle your weapon and clean it yourself. Unless you have no mechanical ability, and I don't mean that in a bad way or to insult anyone. I'm just say'n:wink:

Now granted, you may need a couple of specialized tools, depending on your firearm, but learning this skill is an easy way to keep everything running smoothly.

I generally do a complete break down of my EDC guns at least twice a year. Except for my competition Para, that I break down every quarter, or more often if I feel something is wearing out.
