Question on stock refinishing.
Once I get all of the old oil and grease out of the stocks for my M-1 Garands should I use raw or boiled linseed oil for an original finish?
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

LinSpeed Oil - at Brownell's is basically a thicker boiled Linseed oil.
Pure Tung oil is great also.
Be careful with Linseed or Tung Oil soaked rags. They can and do spontaniously combust.

Think that will give the finish I want, MidwayUSA has it on their website also and since I am making an order tonight I will add it.
