Ok. It definitely seems to be exploiting Chrome. Chrome automatically downloads something when I hit this site. I'm trying now in Safari and don't seem to be having the same issue.

My mac seems unaffected

Yep, same here, been getting it all afternoon.
My guess is that it is embedded in one of the advertisers sites, or one of the sidebar links.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

Yep... It's irritating as hell, PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!
In Firefox, it dumps me into my home page.
In IE it tries to open Windows Media Player.
In safari (PC) it is simply popping up a prompt. Not nearly as bad as the automatic run that was happening in Chrome.
If anyone finds a way to block it, please post it.
Thanks

FWIW, just in case it also helps to know that some aren't getting it, I am running Chrome. So far, no problem.
I run XP Professional, Microsoft's Live One Care and PC Tools' Threat Fire.
So far so good.
ADDED--- A minute after I posted the above Live One Care alerted on a virus:
PWS:WIN32/Zbot.gen!y
The dang thing was trying to open Real Player.
I get a different alert than the OP, but something is wrong with DC. My JVM can not access the jarfile public\ks.jar in the remote host.

Not getting this using Firefox on XP. Will check with my Vista machine and Chrome later on.

You can download Adblock Plus by going to TOOLS / ADD-ONS and choose GET ADD-ONS. Search for Adblock Plus and install it.
When you visit the page that generates the popup, you can choose to block the problem code: |http://poskeheryrggy.com/* using the red octagon icon that will now be to the right of your address bar.
Hope this helps.

Ran two full system malware scans, nothing.
Still get the missing plug-in note, wants to install Media player?

Glad it's not just me. Adaware and Spyware Dr failed to find anything. Clearing cookies and cache resolved the problem for the moment, but the site is still acting weird. Whatever pop-up from http://poskeheryrggy.com is being allowed here, that seems to be the issue. It's fighting very hard against my various pop-up blockers and eventually they are blocking this site entirely. Please fix this.

Just came up on mine and was immediately quarantined by McAfee. Said it was a trojan.
