Avast stops it as well although it can't prevent it from trying again and again and again as one moves around the site. It has apparently shut down GlockTalk and hit some other gun sites. This sucks.
BTW the files get placed in DocumentsAndSettings/UserName/Local Settings/TemporaryInternetFiles/ by http://poskeheryrggy.com even if your antivirus program stops execution. This is for XP SP3

Media player keeps running and prompts for a download. Something is not well in the house.

On a similar note Glocktalk is down completely. Something looks fishy...

Since Glocktalk is also down, I'd be willing to bet that the problem lies in some sponsor that both sites share.
OR
there is some exploit in vBulletin.

Seem Glocktalk is dealing with a hacker. At least that is what is reported on their page at this moment.
Hi folks. We are still dealing with the hacker problem and hope to be back up soon. I apologize for the down time. I'll post more info when I know more.
I'm not having the media player issue anymore but I don't think it is a huge problem that won't be dealt with in time.

Took your advice, working fine now no popup.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

I've noticed it myself. Here is what I just found. Under My Computer --> Documents and Settings --> (Your User Name) --> Application Data --> I found a folder called Azzoib. I deleted it. Also, under the Registry under HKEY_Current_User --> Software --> Microsoft --> Windows --> Current Version --> Run I found a key named {D57A4A0F-FF5E-C441-822D-59879F7EB94C} with the location of the file above.
I also noticed under the same file location there was one called "Ikuvaf" Under Windows/System32 there were 2 files on mine. RPCNETP (application) and RPCNETP.dll

Me to.

If I was a malicious hacker type. I'm not sure I'd target websites dedicated to gun discussions. Seems like the wrong group to antagonize. :)

The same thing began on Glocktalk yesterday morning and Eric was able to upgrade the vbullitin software. This afternoon at 3:00EDT it started again. It was redirecting to bbbinvestigators dot com yesterday and to the one listed in a post above today. Eric shut the site down late this afternoon to investigate. Several other forums with the older versions of the Vbullitin software are experiencing the same problem. Updated servers like XDTalk and Gunforums do not seem to be having the problem "yet".
