I agree. I posted mine in the CC forum because I CC and a lot of people post them here. A separate section, perhaps under Carry Scenarios, would be good I think.
Edit: I think under LE discussion would be better actually.

not a bad idea to give the topic its own section

Give it its own topic section, but don't make it a single thread...it'll get too long and too complicated, too quickly...

Or we could just declare the constant "I got pulled over" threads off topic it's not like each one is some new and exiting story we've never heard before

Personally, I wish the topic would go away. They are all the same; either the poster is tickled because the officer was nice, or the poster is ticked because Officer Huggy wasn't on duty at the time. Then everyone chimes in about stuff they only think they know or understand, but nobody but the OP was there and its only their perception we get.

I agree. It is all the same. LEO encounters go as they go. It gets old seeing the threads and I don't read them unless I see them getting huge amounts of traffic.

I have to agree, as well. The current LEO forum causes me enough problems now. It was never meant as a place for postings of rants against LEOs that some people like to make. In fact, as a former LEO, I somewhat resent those rants and would prefer not to have more of them.

I find the threads on LEO encounters interesting enough to read. Some are good, some are bad. There are good cops out there and then there are the douchebag cops that give the rest a bad name. Like any profession in life...you have good and bad. I personally like to hear of peoples personal run ins with LE.
