What is reputation?

Thanks for clearing up the confusion.

Sorry I am getting to this late, I have been out all day. The reputation system is not used here, at least the way it is intended. Our members have a reputation of either zero or one. If I put a one in the reputation field, the "Contributor" graphic magically appears. Otherwise it doesn't....
