Curious about facebook profile associated with midnight summary emails

I clicked on the facebook icon that appears on the top right of my emails from DC and got this.

Sir (I will not mention the name here),

Are you aware that your profile is coming through with the emails? Just a reminder, in case you didn't realize it, that you are broadcasting your facebook profile.

I'm lost here. What email did you receive from us? I never send emails to members, although the script does have the ability and does send emails for thread subscriptions and such. But there should be no link to anything to Facebook. What emails have your profile in them?

I have a few subscriptions. I've never seen a link in any of them.

When I get updates from VCDL, there is a picture of Phil Van Cleave, the President, which links to his FB page. Somehow this individual is linked to DC. He has 5 friends and lists no affiliation to DC on his page, so it seems to be a private FB page versus one used to 'socialize' with gun rights folks here or elsewhere.

Email it to me at the email address that I PM you. There should be no FB links on emails from this forum. If there is I need to look into it....

I really don't have an explanation of how this could have been added by the forum. That FB account was a bogus test account I set up a long time ago before I actually started a real FB account. It was associated with the email address that everything is forwarded to here on the forum.

Possibly Yahoo Mail is, somehow, associating email addresses with email addresses used in FB. I have deleted that FB account so it will be interesting to see if this link stops being attached immediately. It says a lot about FB privacy if they are allowing Yahoo to do a lookup on incoming email addresses. This is the only explanation I have for it....
