    New Server

    I hope you are all enjoying the recent increase in performance. We didn't announce it, but late last week, the forum was moved over to a newer, faster server and, after checking the statistics, it has really made a big difference. It did require that the forum be unavailable for a half hour, but that's the small price for progress and the continued good health of the forum.

    I had turned it off while I was making some changes in the donation script last week and forgot to turn it back on. I'll do that now....

    I don't believe that any of this would have an effect on emails going out but I will see if there is some kind of stoppage. Mail is queued up for an hour before going out in a "shot"....

    With rare exceptions the emails come a couple minutes after midnight. Now they seem to be coming at 0100 EST. Oddly a few came at 0200.
