Not sure if it's a sign of things to come but if it is, V2 really could benefit from toning down the white background. It's real stark and too bright.

    Just poking around still.

V2 will be the new default scheme. I'm sure everyone understands this but color preference on a site skin is pretty varied from user to user. Many prefer white backgrounds, many hate them. Many love black backgrounds, many hate them. Some prefer something in between.

We've set it up so that you can choose between the old skin and the new skin to try and make sure everyone has something they can deal with. Hope this helps.

I like it in a way, but I am a traditionalist, and wouldnt complain if it changed back...

I'm liking the new style! It is easier for my bespectacled eyes to read.

My reaction too, easier to read on my iPad.

    I like the white background.

A suggestion: The "Stickys", particularly on some forums really take up too much space. I know the idea is that folks will look to the stickys for answers instead of starting a new thread; but, for us regular users (me,at least), they really do get in the way. Could a tab to minimize them (like the minimization arrows on the right of page) be added? Or perhaps a sub-forum dedicated to just stickys?

    Thanks for considering.

How about we set it up to show only the stickies on the "first page" -- it's not entirely what you want but sets it up so if your browsing multiple pages deep into that same subforum you at least don't have to look at them every time.

Guys, I'm also working on getting the automated "Contributing Member" username/graphic styling set up so the moderators don't have to bother with it and there is no delay. Also, there will be a couple cool graphics to help the users stand out and I'm going to try and bump up their privileges even more... more album space, more PM space, etc.

Sponsors have already been given "the treatment" and as you'll see they have a neat little icon after their username and a different color.

I like it. Nice clean look. Also, much easier to read on an Iphone.
