    Editing, posting, etc.

Just today, I noticed that there is a new format when posting, creating new threads, and editing the same.

Above the text window, I see blank areas where the tools should be. I can't see anything to add links, attachments, videos or pictures.

What gives? All I have is blank spaces, if I hover my pointer in front of the blank areas, my browser gives a description, but I have to go space by space, until I find what I need.

    I am using Mozilla Firefox.

Noticed the same thing with IE8.

What I noticed when posting a thread was the yellow-highlighted 'Auto-Saved' blinking every now & again in the lower right of the text window.

Also noticed that there seemed to be no 'Go Advanced' option when starting a thread - has that always been like that?

If you tap the Reply to Thread twice, you'll get to the Icons...
I'm assuming that the this area of the forum is still under construction...but who knows?

Apparently sometime today the forum got upgraded. The Vbulletin software looks like it's up a digit.

Yup, all macro buttons above the text window are gone; only blank spaces remain. I have trouble too starting new threads, and when I click on a existing thread sometimes it says that the server cannot be found; or it is very slow. Because of the "Auto Save" function the text I typed remains in the text window after sending the post, and even after reloading the page.

If I do that I get three rows with blank spaces; same thing when I click on the "Preview Post" button.

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it, about the toolbar...
Yesterday I did notice that the forum was loading extremely slow. It used to be one of the quicker loading forums that I am on. Every page loads slowly now.
And I also get a window pop up every now and then, after I have made a reply and submitted it. I get asked if I am sure I want to navigate away from the page I am on.
And hey! I just saw that auto-saved thingy, lol.

I'm getting the same thing with Safari. I do have text in the "Font" and Size" boxes, the rest are blank. If I hold the cursor over the blank boxes it will give me the box title in a small pop-up box. Definitely something that has changed since yesterday.

Same here, with Windows XP and Firefox, only seeing "font" and "size." Hovering over the boxes does reveal the tool tips, but this needs to be fixed.

    Pronto!

Hooray! I just love progress! (sarcasm!!!!) When I was working, just about the time I figured out how to use one version of the software we had, the techno-nerds would upgrade it to a new version and we'd have to start learning how to use it all over again! I guess I'm just too old and conservative! I HATE change!!!!! (Except if that change involves getting rid of bad gun laws or bad politicians, of course).
