Hard to see hyper-linked text

If I'm missing something please help an old guy out but it seems that two things are blatantly obvious to the most casual observer.

First, having the hyperlinks stand out greatly from the body of text is normally a standard in HTML programming and is a given, if the powers to be that can control this can't see it then they are not in the loop enough to see that it is a problem and/or don't care to change it.

It might be a standard for HTML, but not necessarily implemented in the bulletin board S/W that this forum uses.

Second, JD as a administrator for this forum what are you looking for from us?

I don't think he's asking anything from the users. I believe he's asking the admins to look into it.
