In the past year I've noticed a marked increase in the number and size of sponsored ads, to a point where I find it visually distracting. The ads that contain motion content is such that it’s now difficult to focus on the user experienced that brought me here in the first place. Hopefully, there will be more balance in the future, as this is my favorite forum due to the many good people that make up this wonderful community.

I haven't seen any of the moving adds. The only adds I see are at the top of each page.
Array
When I am logged in I do not have it. When I am not, I get the ads.
When the format of the site changed I changed the settings to go back to the old look. This was all the visuals. The grey and blue, compared to the white and blue. Still have like functions and all that. For some reason with the old setup those ads do not show up.
Go into setting and go back to the older look. Couldn't tell you were in settings but its there. Haven't had any problems with the old.
I stayed with the older (darker) setting...I have no problems with ads.

I also stayed old-school grey and have no ad problem?
