This morning the drop-down menu used to switch back to the old GUI, DC Interim, was there as usual, but now it is gone and for that reason I can only use the new GUI. Does anyone else have this problem? I hope it is my computer or something temporary only.

OK, I think it may have been a "cookie" problem as I logged out and back in and it returned.
If any others are having the issue and are game, log out and log back in and see if the option returns.

I was able to go in and get back to the old "DC Interim" with the appearance I'm used to. Took a bit of digging around till I found it at the bottom of something somewhere among all the panels.
