Give at least 2 options for skins.

If it has to be one, use the interim colors.

What, there were options to change the colors?

Poll - Leave the current DC theme alone, or give some subdueded options
It would appear that the owners of the forum have decided that the current color scheme is what we get.
I for one would like the option to choose a more subdued background and title bars.
So lets put it to a member speak out, leave the forum as is, or give some options to tone it down.
You can vote for more than one choice in the poll - If you are happy with the current, at least vote for the option for additional skins for those of us that don't like it.

Personally, I think the current theme is great. Very readable. I wish some of the other firearms forums I read would adopt it.

I was and still am a big fan of the interim skin. So i voted to retain it if possible. The harsh white/blue theme still gives me a headache but since I found the "color that site" add on to Firefox, it really won't effect me either way.

Myself I prefer the more subdued colors of the interim background the current background is just too stark and hard on the eyes..

I'm fine with the current color scheme, as I find it's easier to follow than the 'interim' grey that was available.
I think that there should be some choice in color schemes to accommodate the tastes of the users.
I vote "Give at least two options for skins."

vBulletin has several different skins available. It should be an optional choice. If you have to, make it a perk after a certain number of posts or for contributing members or something.

The current skin is very aggravating to me. I cannot see which forums have new posts the way I could with the old one. Now I have to open each different forum to look for new posts.

I think that's a function of vBulletin not a theme.

I'm sure vBulletin has a number of preset themes/skins, plus the ability to do a custom, but we are only given the option of what you see here, whereas before we had 2 or 3 options.

I (for one), feel as if the owners really could give an RA about my personal preferences. We have all been nice and brought our very legitimate concerns to the forefront.
(THIS SKIN REALLY DOES HURT OUR EYES & CAUSES US TO HAVE HEADACHES!!!!)
This forum has always been one of my favorites. But, if the owners don't care about me & the others who have real concerns, then I wonder why I should care if they lose members because of their poor customer service performance. Maybe, a decrease in site participation may open their eyes. It may even garner the attention of forum sponsors if members start leaving.
I own a couple of businesses; and I watch the sites where I advertise very closely. If a site where I spend my advertising dollars doesn't offer good customer service and begins to lose daily hits, I DROP them & use those dollars in a better place.

I did the same thing, and it helped quite a bit.
