Might just be me, but I find the forum ads that drop down into the body of the forum (Ford 150 as example) to be offensive. I understand ad revenue is needed but to slap me in the face with them is too much.
We are told not to judge Muslims by the actions of a few. I suggest we give millions of responsible gun owners the same courtesy.

Not sure what browser you are using, but you should try an add blocker if it bothers you that much. It'll help with other sites too.

Ford isn't a site sponsor, I don't know about the ads but it seems that most people don't have that problem

I don't get any of these type of ads, but as a Chevy guy I'd find a Ford ad offensive too.

The owners of this site have not allowed any FORD ads here. FORD is not a forum sponsor. So any FORD ad that a few folks are seeing on DC should not be here. Just FYI.

I've noticed these java- and flash-based ads whenever I've logged into this site without adblock. I would actually whitelist the defensivecarry.com domain on my adblock if the ads were not so annoying as page loads are a source of ad revenue for the site. Instead, I'll just become a contributing member soon.

I see the Ford truck ad that pops up if I come to the sight without logging in from my iPad on the public wireless network at work. I rarely log in that way, only if I'm PMing someone over a buy, sale, and trade that I'm keeping tabs on.
