What Is The Difference Between A Banned Member and a Maggie-fied Ex-Member?

This question goes to the moderators. I have seen, for the first time I'm aware of, a banned member here. Normally, when someone gets the boot, they get an ex-member avatar. Just curious.

That would be the Moderators that sometimes "donate" a special and often appropriate Avatar.

The difference between a Banned member and an Ex-Member is only in the procedural method taken to make them go Bye Bye.
There is more that one way to travel down the same road.

There was one pic on a banned member that was changed by a mod, every time I looked at that pic I busted laughing. Wish y'all would do it more often when you have to take someone out. The funny pic's kinda make a bad feeling of someone behaving badly a little easier to take when it makes you laugh.

I think the Mods should change the avatar when someone gets an infraction or says something dumb . Not me of coarse .

On a serious note can they get in the room by sneaking in under another name and a different computer . There would be no way of know unless someone was able to notice writting patterns or style .

Mike1956 (OP) Could you please explain to me just exactly what Maggie-fied stands for or means. I'm pretty sure this word will not be in either of my 2 Dictionary's.

    Thanks in Advance.

...a person with a personality such as would get them banned would likely not change enough not to be spotted...even from another computer...

That is when Maggie the ex-member mule becomes your avatar. I reckon that will probably be my fate one of these days.

Lots of "ex's" around, and not all have "Maggie" as the identifier. I imagine it was due to only specific folks being bit of a mule's heinie prior to being shown the door.

The rules aren't that difficult to follow. Not a lot of them, beyond the "Golden" rule, keeping it clean, no attacks, no public dissenting with moderators and questioning policies. About as simple as it gets. This is, after all, or at least it was at one time, Bumper's House. B's house; B's rules.

BTW, where is "B" these days? Don't see him around much. What, did he get one of those invisi-Mule avatars?
