    Intrusion Attempt

I have been repeatedly warned by my security program after logging in to DC that a high risk intrusion attempt has been blocked. This intrusion threat only occurs at this site.

it's probably because of all the tracking cookies like "doubleclick.net" and such.

Again, switch to Firefox or Chrome and get AdBlock Plus. It blocks the ads from appearing.

I haven't seen ads on Facebook, commercials on Youtube, and ads on forums for 5 years now.

I like using Opera as a browse or Chrome. It keeps most of the ads out (Not sure about NSA). I was on my Mobil device the other day. Talking to my exterminator about ant tracks. And the next day I got a visit from the FBI <rimshot>

Oh bummer I can see how ant tracks could be confused with Amtrak.

Once in a while I would get one of those phishing pop ups claiming I have been infected, prompting me to install some 'antivirus' (which would actually be the virus itself). It only happens with this forum. Thankfully I browse mostly from my phone, so they can't install anything even if I accidentally tap 'yes'.

I strongly suspect that a hacker has managed to implant a malicious script on DC somewhere.

Yep. Firefox. Alternately Chrome & to a lesser extent I use Opera. IE is hopeless.

Adblock+ & AVG seem to catch all ads & viruses trying to intrude in this old, old computer.
