    Missing Memorial Day thread

I started Memorial Day thread a couple of days ago. Just curious to where it went. Hopefully it didn't get canned because folks decided to make political statements....

    Just curious.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

I looked could not find the thread so I will just say " To all that served or had family members who served and yes the ones that may of had friends who served I say bless you and the ones that you may have lost or been damaged in some way serving this country" My son is 5th generation and I am glad his is at home so I can hug him once in a while and the ones that were in my group have all passed so as last man standing from my group I salute you and wish you peace for the rest of your days, nuff said

Please remember, Memorial Day is the day we remember our war dead while Veteran's Day (or everyday?) is for those that came home.

I know I had a couple of likes from my post in the thread. They aren't showing in my "likes" file. Even if the thread had been moved or closed they would still show. It appears the thread was closed and deleted. It was still up this morning and there was nothing in it to cause it to be removed. Will be interested in finding out why it was closed and removed.

I’ve been wondering what happened to that thread also; I do not recall any kind of political remarks at all. I checked my likes also and they have disappeared too.

It's a mystery to me. I don't see any of them in the Rogues Gallery & I do not see any threads that have been "Soft Deleted" - I sure have not deleted any threads and the only other two that can do a complete Physical Removal of a thread would be either JD or SIXTO.

I have not seen any mention in the P. Staff Area of any Admin deleting entire threads.

I have just been jumping on and off sporadically and am not really up on the minutia of Moderation for the past few days. I have been quite busy on the homefront.

So just open up a new thread and/or repost what you have already posted.

Forum Moderators have never been known to delete Memorial Day threads just for the heck of it.

What happened to the ones that were here? I have no idea and do not have time this evening to find out. So carry on.

Two Memorial Day threads deleted? This is disturbing. I hope it's not been hacked. Mean.

There is an active Memorial Day thread going on, right now. Might be worth posting the missing original posts into that one, if the OP's can recall the basic content.
