That sounds like a man with too much experience with MS Upgrades........

    Seriously, thanks for the efforts!

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

    Much thanks Bumper

I had to turn up my CPAC for a few nights... now all is well, I'm breathing fine again.

This is what I thought was what was going on.
I thinkDC is getting so popular that the system can't take the load
I seem to get the jitters too, when I am unable to access, but not to worry, I don't think any of us are going anywhere.

    Current Problem with Site

If I use my Firefox browser, after its most recent upgrade, I receive the following message which I've never gotten before:

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (hhttp) isn't associated with any program.

Yes, that's correct, "hhttp" which is not what my browser shows I'm looking at. By selecting "OK" I can sometimes, but not always, get to the site.

If I use Explorer, I can't connect at all. What gives?

Like a lot of others, I am a member of other gun related forums. One, in particular, the "Firearms Forum" powered by Vbulliten was off line for several days recently. When it came back online an administrator posted that they were having a problem with a hacker who didn't like guns. Now it's off line again and has been for a couple of weeks. Just sayin'.
