Old threads automatically lock if there is no activity for X# of hours/days to keep them from rising from the grave again? True/False
If so what if I have a similar question and believe the old thread did not answer it? I don't want to post a new thread if a thread already exists, but I can't post to the old thread.
Would it be OK to open a thread with updated question and reference the old thread?
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Threads lock after 6 months with no new posts. Normally, we do not open closed threads....
