Does anybody know anything about Damascus Steel Slides?

Was wasting time thinking about guns again, and ran across a photo of a truly breathtakingly beautiful Damascus Steel Slide on a 1911. Does anyone know who makes these? Or more specifically, if anyone makes these for Glocks?

I know Caspian Arms, Ltd. makes them for 1911s. Their site has no reference whatsoever to Glocks.

Not that I needed another idea on how to spend my money on guns. Not that I had any need or interest in dressing up my Glock (beautiful as she is already!). Not that I want my primary carry weapon to go around in formal wear or anything.

    But that thing was smokin'!

what if the pig likes lipstick? what if the pig feels an added sense of joy and self-confidence while wearing the lipstick? What if the lipstick wearing pig likes to strut like Travolta while showing off its sexy moves?

I would think it's acid etched. Damascus steel is hammered and folded hundreds of times in the forging process.

Damascus steel slides are made the same way all Dasmacus steel is. Yes it is acid etched because the pattern dousn't show unless the steel is bathed in light acid. Without etching it all is just shiney steel.

I believe Caspian slides are actual Damascus steel. I have also seen a stainless version of Damascus, using two different steels.
