Ruger Mark I Extractor
I am currently attempting to repair my buddy's old mark I and it seems like the extractor claw is worn. The problem is I can't seem to locate a mark I extractor. Does anyone know if a mark II or III extractor is interchangeable? Those are available on brownells.

From the cartoons in the Ruger manuals, it's hard to tell.
I would simply call Ruger customer service in Prescott, AZ and ask. 928-778-6555
Their parts prices are quite reasonable.

True enough. I figured I'd ask on here first.

For those interested: I called Ruger and the parts are indeed interchangeable, and are giving me the part for free.

Sweet! Ruger continues to be at the top of the customer service heap.
When you go to change out your extractor, I suggest putting bolt and hands inside a gallon-sized baggie. This may save you some time on hands and knees searching for the small parts that got launched when you took the old extractor out...
