The Texas Bigfoot research group when conducting their expedition in the swamps in East Texas carry their rifles with them. They state that they want to catch and kill one to save the species to prove their existence. I don't see them carrying handguns.

While I have a Super Redhawk 44 mag in my safe I think I would be a little lazy and not want to lug that big boy all over creation. No, I think my CZ-52 would be enough to handle two or three bigfoot creatures at once and if I happen to miss I think the ensuing fireball from the CZ would be enough to blind everybody until dawn breaks.

I'm still sticking with my Ruger GP100 357 3 inch and I'll stick with the Winchester 125/158 Grain JHPs or maybe the Silvertip 145 Grain HPs, why change in mid-stream.

Glock 20 10mm loaded with Buffalo Bore or Double Tap 200 grain heavy loads. Also several spare magazines as I hear bigfoots travel in groups sometimes.
    God bless our troops!

Only one handgun/firearm out of the current collection Ruger Blackhawk in .357

For that kind of monster hunt, I'd throw a fit if I couldn't take my Merkel side by side in .375 H&H its durable, accurate and has good one shot take down for any animal without armored skin. It's also easier to take out of country than a handgun.

    .44 Magnum

I would take my S&W 629 Classic, 8 3/8" barrel. For ammo, I would take 24 rounds of American Eagle 240 gr jacketed hollow points. Why half a box of this ammo? Because that is all I happen to have and I can't afford to feed her any more.

Dan Wesson .44 mag with the heaviest weight deep penetrating load I can get. Hollow points are man stoppers, or good for thin skinned game like whitetail deer, but for a really large animal, you need penetration. That's why African big game hunters carry large bore rifles with solid loads for elephant, rhino and other large thick skinned game.

I shot a Bigfoot once, but we buried it and now I can't remember where. And we also forgot to take any pictures. It was huge and spoke in Arabic.

That happened back in 1978, right after the flying saucer landed on our farm.
