I'm afraid if I went I'd end up having to sell my car to pay for all the time I'd end up spending on the M2HB. Then I'd be stuck with no way to get home.
How much is admission alone? I've been curious about going to that for years now. Shepherdsville, KY is only about a 3 hour car ride away, and I'd really like to go if I can get the time off from work.

I sure wish I were..... I am only about 2 hours away. Less if I fly. Industrial maintenance is a damn fine occupation but it is every weekend and every holiday. Especially so if Self Employed....
I have a friend (firearms mfgr.) that goes every year. Then again, He's rich. I ain't.

I believe prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance should have REMAINED in schools, and the Ten Commandments should have REMAINED in schools, courthouses, and everywhere else it was before the ACLU got involved.
Is this near the Knob Creek bourbon distillery - or on the Bourbon Trail?
Talk about a great vacation. The website is at machinegunshoot.com.
I was going to go, I intended on having a new bike to ride down with the boys. But, I didn't buy a new bike and I have to work anyway.
I went back in 00, it was a good time.

It's not too far from it.

I have a camper that slides into the bed of my F350 dually 4X4, last year just before coming over here a buddy and I spent Sat & Sun there. It had rained the day before and the guys with the foreign military 8X8s pulling campers to their spots said I was the only vehicle to make it to a camping site unassisted all day, and then I drove out under my own power on Sun (GO FORD!)
Then I stopped at a “club” in E. St. Louis for a few hours on the way home.
It is like Mecca is for the rag heads, all gun owners should be required to attend at least once (last year was my 9th time)
heh...no but I'll bring the Spirit of Knob Creek home with me this weekend :)
Plan to go Sunday , Friday and Saturday are just to crowded. Sundays are about like Saturdays were 15 years ago.
I just got home and it was awesome as usual....you need to go if you love guns. Such an awesome Man-cation. It is getting really crowded due to the media attention alerting people to it the last couple years. The next one is Oct 8-9-10, 2010. Im going again if I can. This was my third time in 6 yrs.
