Kahr MK9 Spent casing not fully ejected

I was firing my Kahr MK9 at the range yesterday. Up to now, I have never had a failure of any kind. This time I had two spent casings get caught in the ejection port after firing with the next round fed in the chamber. Any guesses as to the problem? Or just one of those days?

My MK9 never did that. However my P45 did. If it happened at the end of a shooting session I'd give it a good cleaning and shoot it again to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

How many rounds do you have through this gun?

I had this happen with Sig P226. In my case it was caused by what looked like lint all around the extractor spring. How it managed to get in there I have no clue but after clearing it out no more problems. It only takes the smallest thing to ruin your day sometimes.

Could be "limp wristing". Or it could just need a good cleaning. Did you try a new type of ammo this time?
