Late back to this thread but am grateful for the report on the old Smith & Wesson revolver. Sounds like a typically fine performance for one of those from the era. Glad it still works well in the right hands.
Also am glad to read of your impressions with the other handguns. Just the difference in folks but cocked and locked is comforting to me.
i guess thats why there are different choices.
recently purchased a Kahr CW9 and feel comfortable carrying it with 7+1.
put 150 rounds through it so far not one failure of any kind.
three different boxes of 50.

happy with these results so far. easy to conceal also.
have a few others to try and then on to some hollow points.

still havent had a chance to clean up the grips on the 38 special.
