    For the average shooter I would really not concern myself with the issue. My Dr. shoots every weekend and she is not concerned. Actually, her comment was, if this was a problem, we would have discovered it a few hundred years ago. It's not like we are sanding lead-based paint when we shoot. There are far more important issues to personal health. "I would be far more concerned with a car jacking than I would with devoloping some lead-related health issue by firearms practice.."

    You can be tested for lead in the blood and body (collects in the liver) and there is a pretty easy method to get rid of it. I was worried once but tested negative.
