You should have had that crazy twitch in your eye like that CPT.Dreyfus in the old pink panther movie and every once in a while start babbling about the spiders on your shirt and try brushing them off !

Hmm, maybe we should declare an "NRA Apperel Day" and wear NRA clothing as a sign of unity. Imagine 80 million folks flooding the streets with hats, shirts, pins, flags, etc. Just an idea.

I'd give them the evil eye back but then in my job, I'm always getting the evil eye and my eye would be permanenty fixed that way if I gave it back all the time.

Around here a NRA hat is about as common as UK Wildcats hat.

I have a far different take on this. It is mearly a hat. I have NRA hats, Jack Daniels hats, Pink Floyd hats, FLUKE Instriments hats and a host of others. None of these draws any more attention that a Link-Belt sticker on a hardhat to the average Joe.

And there is a 100% chance I continue to wear my hats, NRA included , where dress does not dictate otherwise.

    Best!

Stand upon your principles and walk through the valley of darkness because deep down you know that that no evil can befall you. Attempting to think what others think about you only weakens the ground you stand upon. Either ignore these things, or become the mirror they're afraid of. Continue to pursue all of the rights granted to you upon this earth and never ever loose any sleep over what's transpired that you should in essence think nothing of.

...and probably by people who swore and wore profane statements on crooked caps and t-shirts with baggy pants.

Here we sit worring about hats when Rev. Brother Al Sharpton is in route to Mexico to help defend illegal imigrants and help preserve their rights when I have to fight for my own rights to protect my own home... Damn!

You know, this thread really says something profound about the cultureal/political shifts that have occured within our once proud country.

In the places where rural and/or conservative values still hold sway, an NRA hat isn't even worthy of a comment unless its a positive, sometimes unspoken, acknowledgement of similar values. Along much of the east coast and the "left" coast, and various other regions, the NRA, which was at one time almost universally seen as a patriotic organization, is now viewed as unpatriotic and either outright condemmed or viewed with contempt..........

What an utterly sad, and truly frightening, state of affairs

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.
