Second if you are looking to hide something that nobody is going to find easily and it is secure. Most major hotels will have a safety deposit boxes inside their hotel. Some of them will be willing to rent out a box without being a guest of the hotel or you might have to stay 1 night out of the year. It may be more expensive but there will not be any banking record.
    Good info!

I keep my wife's stuff in my box and my stuff is in her box. Kentucky has some strange rules on safety deposit boxes.

Bury the gun. Of course there are certain requirements to do this; but, it works very well.

I may or may not have kept one in a safe dep box... it's your stuff, no one else knows what is in there, hence the idea behind the safe dep box

In today's financial situation with banks being closed down almost weekly I would'nt personally have a safe deposit box for any reason. I have heard that once a bank is shut down you will be lucky to ever have access to your box again.

My concern about leaving a gun in a SDB s you are essentially giving control of your gun to the bank.

A large piece of PVC pipe with the end caps glued on makes a very good waterproof instrument in which to bury your valuables.
