    Awesome day!!!!

    Oaklands and I decided to close up shop at 3pm today and go shooting a good friend of ours has some land and a great place to shoot. Oaklands brought most of his toys including a Dan Wesson 9mm 1911 that shot like melted butter it is utterly the smoothest action I have ever felt. I brought along the new AR and it is SWEEET. We had some newbi shooters and it was fun watching them learn and get better with every mag....was probably one of the best days shooting I have ever had. Oaklands may have more pics I'll see if he will post them.

    Yeah...2 beers is bound to make you do crazy things...

    Nobody had over 2 beers. It was hot outside and was just used as a refreshment and not for a party. As a matter of fact I went to a party afterwords and had 1 and called it a night.

    I took the following with me yesterday: Dan Wesson PM-9, Sig P229, S&W 5906, Metro Arms American Classic II 1911, Kimber Pro Carry II with a 22 conversion on it and my Kimber Ultra Carry II.

    We did have a ball and Jbum is right, the AR was SWEEEETTT!!. Even the beginners were hitting the target with the Dan Wesson and Pro Carry II. They make good shooters out of all of us.

    I'll try to post more pics later. Didn't bring my USB cable home with me.
    I must have more 1911's. Someone donate me a Springfield EMP.
