Chris, the 45-70, about how much was that? I have about 10 rounds of 45-70 left over from when I owned a single shot (forget the model/make) and well, it just wouldn't be right to just throw them away now would it.
Also, will the 45-70 fire .45LC? I think that I read/heard that you could. Not sure if IRC on that one.

AR-15 with about 500 rds. of wolf.
Set up clay birds at 100 yards and blast away.

I have to admit my Liesure shooting usually gets taken care of first.. I shoot my Win 52C and Lyman 25x scope at tiny little USBR bullseyes (.10") at 50yds for fun.. It actually helps get me more focused for the handgun training that is mandatory.

I usually go up to my buddy's house and we break out the .22s at his creek - no snake is safe. The Marlin 30-30 is nice for some lever action fun but I need to check out a new rifle range I just found out about if I'm going to shoot it (haven't shot it since I moved to Nashville).
Other than that, the little 642 with some +P Golden Sabers always leaves me with a stupid grin. Gotta get some of those 158 +P LSWCHP Stephen Camp brags about - they oughtta be a hoot 'n a half!

My bushy is my first thought on 'fun guns', my browning buckmark gets plenty of exercise.
Just purchased a 29-2 from around 1980 in _great_ condition, I'm sure it'll move to the top of the list, when I get to shoot it. The front sight blade was broken, it's being fixed before I pick it up. Can't wait :)

Thanks! It is my rimfire "holy grail".. I looked for one for a long while in that condition before one showed up on GT for sale.. Turns out it was located about 100 miles from me. I left work early, picked up the kids and drove to get it before someone else picked it up..
Anyway, the scope is 24" long and is adjustable for viewing 50' to over 300 yards.. Way too much for the .22LR, and only 3" shorter than the barrel..
Sure prints nice groups though. My best at 50 yards is .161" center to center..

I have several "fun" guns. Either a G3 .308, 9MM Uzi, 12ga. Bullpup, or my AR. All are very fun.
