Stolen Gun report from NW Missouri Area. Keep your eyes open for these. You can report any finding to me and I'll forward the info. This took place in Pradise Mo.

The lowlife scum/s stole the entire gun safe with all contents, and other valuables from their home to include gold bars and jewelry.

I don't mean to be rude, or go off topic, but how exactly did they steal an entire safe? Just about every person i know, me included, has their safe in a basement, or at least inside their home. Seeing how hard it was to get the monstrosity in there, im intrigued as to how they succeeded in getting it out.

I will pass this on via E-Mail to my family/friends in KC. Hope they catch the scumbags.

hernias be damned.... if they want it bad enough... Too bad the safe didn't fall on one of them during the escape.

Got me the thing had to weight a ton with all that in it.

no kiddding! I just bought a smaller safe and it alone weighs somewhere around 450 pounds! throw some guns in it and I can't imagine how they could take it out without A LOT of effort and help!! Let alone time... I'd guess the crooks knew what they were after and were very prepared and had plenty of time and cover to do their job... maybe I'm insane for thinking my 450# safe, + contents is secure enough NOT bolted to my subfloor (I have a single level) I also have a home alarm system installed... :22a: I feel good the contents are fire protected somewhat, child protected and safe from all but the most determined burglars.

You have to assume someone with access, time, and given the haul, worth the risk. All it really takes.

Yep, especially in the small towns of NW Missouri. Has to be someone he knows, or he let know he had alot of nice guns.

Well, he could consider himself lucky too.

Here, 2 thugs decided to go out into the country and rob a gun dealer (who didn't keep any guns at home). They snuck into the house and shot them in their sleep. Their 3 young daughters heard the gun fire, and the thugs told them to return to there bedroom and not come out... and did not harm them.
They searched and searched, and the only guns.... was a shotgun and a handgun the guy had in the nightstand.

Guess what ... they gave a friend of theirs the shotgun. He got stopped and there was a warrant out on him, so he spilled the beans on the other 2 to try to get out of his predicament.

Besides either knowing him, or of him, they also had a way to dispose of them far far far away from Missouri.

I saw once where the crooks broke out a window in a house, wrapped a huge log chain around the safe and dragged it out threw the freaking wall with a 4X4 pick up!!! It pulled the entire wall down and then they just dragged it down the road where they had buddies waiting to load it up. Luckily they were caught and the owner got all his guns back. Some were kind of dinged up though.

wow, that safe must have weighed a ton! some very well prepared burglars.... They had to have known the victim, and his safe...that should narrow down suspects to those who have access to his house before or maybe whoever sold him the safe! lol.
