Dosen't look fake, looks period, but very complex... lots of points of failure. If it is real, I doubt it worked well. If it had, there might be some more.

Well, 48 shot revolver, kind of brings it up above the semi-autos. If only it worked. Would be kind of difficult IWB!

My guess would be steampunk as well. Some of that stuff I have seen is really impressivly done.

However, the late 1800s proved to be a great source of interesting and new gun designs that never went anywhere.

Well, if you DID have to draw,...you probable wouldn't have to shoot, the BG would definitely run in fear

If it is real, it is most likely cap and ball given the design of the barrel.

I can't tell. It really looks like a prop from some movie, looks very Mad Max like.

First thing comes to mind is something 'Doc' Brown in "Back to the Future 3" would have made.

My wife just asked me what the heck Im laughing at so hard,....

I honestly think it'd take me two hands to draw that thing, much less attempt to aim it or be remotely accurate

Yeah, it's marvelous! I tried a Google search, but didn't come up with anything. The diagonal that braces the barrel suggests someone was really trying to make it work, and so I thought it just might be real.

If it is cap and ball, imagine the blast if there was any cross ignition!
